About LinkBacksIf I was rich beyond belief I know I still would torrent. Unless the movie instrustry started offering direct movie downloads for a reasonable price but the odds of that happening are laughable.

Probably not, except for maybe music because FLAC is higher quality than anything offered in stores.
But I mean, I like menus, and physical disks. So DVDs are obviously going to be bought. Plus games have online features that usually aren't cracked, so I'd like that too.
I imagine most rich/famous people would have much better things to do with their time than download things online. If I were rich/famous, I know I would definitely not bother with torrents. I'd spend my time doing things that matter. Also, I can't imagine why anybody in this position would take such an unnecessary risk.
By rich, I assume a millionaire many many times over as a million dollars these days is really not that much.
Yeh I think they do, I mean Stephen Fry recently admitted to downloading TV shows from internet. I also have a friend that earns around a million a year and hes constantly downloading stuff. I dont think its about the money, I think I big part of it is disagreeing with the ridiculuous prices of somethings and not liking where the money may be going.
Plus like gamerz said above its sure quicker to download a cd and burn it than go to the shop and buy it.
I would assume that they do. A lot of millionaires are frugal. They also have a lot of free time, lol!

I don't think that music artists download music with torrents, and I don't think that movie acters download movies. Just because they want to support the business they are working in.
I do think it is possible that acters download music and vice versa.
On the other hand, most of these people make loads of money so why would they? :P
I dont think that I would download music if I made music for a living, you don't want to bring down the business that you work in ofcourse.
I don't know if they do, but I most certainly would for most - you are still better off buying some things.
I would if I was rich just because I'm a big anime fan and I think its ridiculous for funimation and other groups to charge so much for anime DVD releases when there isn't that many episodes per disc. Also with movies, I, myself don't know how to rip a bluray while maintaining good video quality and keeping the size of the video small so I honestly think it would be easier for me to download someone's encode online. If I was rich, the only change I would make is buying a seedbox for each tracker I'm apart of and seed as much as I can.
