That is because it isnt,a few trackers may not like it but it does happen.........and in big amounts too,
No tracker would ban you for cross seeding

They will ban you, however, if they found you upload their "exclusive" torrent files elsewhere. For example, a whole lot of people got banned for upload SciHD exclusive to elsewhere. They know your IP address and if it happen to be you, the uploader, then there may be some problems with them. Undoubtedly, most sites forbid upload their torrents elsewhere.

ye but that ain't cross seeding.

sites like theplace, thevault don't want you uploading (as in create torrent) their content to other sites but if you found that content already existing on other trackers it is alright to seed to my knowledge.

I may as well say it as well.

I have never seen a tracker that doesn't allow cross-seeding.

I agree, I cross-seed between TL and TD (and Demonoid when it was up) all the time. I typically take DL the torrent from wherever I have the highest ratio and seed it to the other sites if they have the same torrent. I wish I could get Uploader status to UL torrents to the sites that don't have the same torrent, but my bandwidth sux. I'm thinking of springing for a seed box for just this reason.

You probably need scene access too to become an uploader.

Well there are a few actually trackers like ScL have it written in their FAQs that they dislike seeding but it does happen.

Im sure some do dislike it, as it sort of deteriorates from what the trackers are supposed to be used for. But if they took it away, there would be a lot more people on ratio watch.

I would probably get rid of my seedbox if cross seeding was not allowed.

It is the perfect borrow from Peter to pay Paul, and vice versa arrangement. I cross with SCC, RevTT and DH constantly. ScL (Clover) always makes for a little extra DL because of the file mods.
