Default Inviting a user who has lost his account due to inactivity

I have a friend who losted his account on a private tracker due to inactivity. His ratio was very good though.

How dangerous is it for me to send him a new invite? Will I risk of getting banned?

Thanks in advance for the help!

It depends which tracker, but on some of them they will ban you. Regardless of why the person lost their account. I'm doublechecking right now, but it would be your safest bet to look at the rules of whatever site you are trying to do that on. Usually they lay that part out pretty nicely...

Will they identify the user by his IP? I don't see other way they could know he's the same person.

So I guess I only have to make sure my friend has a new IP, right?

Yep, should be fine then. And obviously a different username and email address... [as stated above]

Most trackers only disable the unused/inactive accounts and not delete them, his account may still be there,in most cases the staff would be kind enough to re-enable it,if he or you go to the IRC and ask IMO,otherwise, try what iWaffle said

An ivnitee that have been disabled due to inactivity should not be invited again. Why should you spend your invites to someone that are not interested in the site. Its not very hard to log in once in a month.
