Hah, nice application they have there. 4 proflie links? Shhuuuuuuure coming right up. It's their sandbox, they have a right to set whatever rules they want - but trust goes both ways, and I'm not providing them 4 links to my activities on other trackers.

Dunno but to me it's kinda fishy. Even though it might be something serious, im not buying it !

And there is nothing fishy about PTN, it's one of the most respected trackers around.

If something is too good to be true, isn't .
I don't have enough hair in my head to count the applications that were already made there !

I really don't understand the reluctance of some of our newer members to provide profile links. What are you guys trying to hide? I've had to deny several people here invites because they have refused to provide profile links due to "privacy". I suppose it's possible that they didn't really have accounts at the trackers they claimed, but they seemed to otherwise be on top of the ball, and we're not talking about super high-level stuff for the most part, so I would guess the accounts were probably legit. Nevertheless, if there's really such little trust, then there won't be any inviting going on.

This is an excellent site, but they are only interested in members who will be active both in terms of the community and in terms of uploading and downloading. If you're too shy to provide them with the requisite 4 profile links so that they can get to know your activity on other trackers and decide if you are a good fit, then I guess it's your loss.

Seriously though, why is there suddenly mass paranoia about sharing profile links?

My thoughts exactly nurowiz. I too have had to deny people invites lately for not wanting to share their profile links, I mean come on I'm inviting you to a tracker, that's me trusting you and you can't reciprocate? That shows to me you are not worthy of the invite in the first place.

I vouch for PtN, show them what you have, be honest and they will accept you, simple as that.
