Here are some rumors and mis-information that *** is pay 2 leech:

No, *** is a sponsorship based community. It is not profit driven, and some of our sponsors don't even access the links to torrents. Additionally with the financial structure of this sponsorship model it’s impossible for *** to ever make a profit, nor is it our goal.

*** is causing additional eyeballs to be placed on it: False, security by obscurity doesn't work, never will. A non-profit sponsorship model with a contract certainty containing a consideration and specific confidentiality, data-mining and privacy terms & conditions for all site users affords the best possible protection for any tracker either now or in the future.

If there was a global micropayment system available, I'd charge a $.01 fee to be a member. But there isn't.

To become a member of *** you need to find someone with an invite, and once you signup you'll need to make a sponsorship payment in order to use the account. Failure to sponsor *** will result in your account being banned, and future signup difficult at best.





is it me or i dont see any difference between a p2l and a sponsorship. in the end you are still paying for it. giving it a fancy name doesnt change anything imho

That sums it up pretty well. In the end, it's just a pathetic attempt to save face after the entire community started speaking out against this decision. Sponsorship is just a fancy name for subscription, and subscriptions are just pay-2-leech. The least they can do is be honest instead of insulting the community's intelligence.
