If you were browsing through your seeds to find some good seedboxes to perhaps buy, saw one typed in the url and then up pops ruTorrent and you now have admin access to a 1Gbps seedbox? A once in a lifetime oppertunity.
You don't get 2 guesses about what has just happened to me. :laugh:

Hell you are lucky ! but If this seedbox belongs to somebody then this is obviously wrong and u should stop using it .

I'd refrain from using the box and immediately notify the company. I believe that to do otherwise is stealing. Course I also give back extra change if a cashier gives me too much.

You are also taking risk of being ban on yourself because you don't know if the previous user of the box caught cheating and banned IP. Maybe that example was a bit unrealistic but what happen when an admin came back and thought you hax this system? I think he could report you to some trackers and they may ban you.

Very noble of you flutrose but don't you technically steal content? which is pretty much the same thing. Anyway I'm not so nice, I would exploit that bitch the hell up! Of course you may want to consider any torrents you add to it have your passkey in it and tbh if someone was using my 1gbit seedbox without my permission I would fuck them with their own passkey. But its up to you =)

So there was no password? Lol lucky, but I'd recommend not using it. Leaving your passkey there can seriously **** you up lol.

I wouldnt use it if I were you, im sure the seedbox providers can do something to get you banned if they find out about it, i.e.: install some ratio cheating apps, and not inform you. Moreover, they now have your passkey!
