Wow, I would not mind having that as a upload speed, could get quite a nice buffer :)

No. But its not fake either. The server hasnt downloaded anything, but 210.3Kbs, which can be done fast, under 1 sec, so the client simple multiplied the real value (210 kb/ ~0.0... sec) to be able to show the rate in B/sec. Just read the picture before shouting record ;)

The picture shows that the client has downloaded ~11 gig and uploaded ~38.9Gb with a ratio at 3.42 .. with an avg speed of ~197,9 MB/s

Yeah, sorry, googled for rtorrent screenshots. Still i cant believe that the hdd wrote that 11gb down with 198Mb/s rate, could be very expensive, and using RAID.

P.s.: as you can see, the Rate on the top of the screen (on the line of the torrent) shows the current Rate, not the avg, as it shows 197Mb / 0.0 Kb (down/up), the server downloaded 11Gbs, but, lets say the last piece, which is about 512kb or 1mb, based on the torrent, came with 197Mb/s, wich can be real, because of the hdd cache (its a gigabit server in the datacenter, that sent the last piece). So i was wrong the first time, but that doesnt mean that you are right about it (its not avg speed, thats sure, read on the rtorrent guide).

I guess I'll just have to wait 1o years to have that speed in my country : ( tops now is 10 Mbit, and 40 Mbit with uncapped modems. Sucks.

Interesting. I think that having a speed like that on private trackers is unfair to everyone else..
How is anyone supposed to get to 1:1 when this guy is jacking all the creds?

Beyond that, I don't think its necessarily true.
Many things could cause rTorrent to wrongly display that speed.
Including miscalculated fluctuations in speed, and bugs in rtorrent or the tracker.
I doubt thats the average speed.. Maybe the top speed.

Unless this lady is interested in COD lol.
