Damn!! I wonder if the member who got that speed had to submit proof that they were not faking their speeds. The fastest I have ever heard of was 55MB/sec sustained. but i think it was gigabit to gigabit dedicated servers
really it's ridiculous , ithink that only happened with 2gbit connection and thats for not less than 500$ per month server .
and for SCT , it is not a weird to see high speeds like that :)

If i had 40gb/s internet...
1) Buy 50gb HDD for OS
2) Get 40gb/s internet
3) Store all data on the internet

That is some pretty god damn fast speed, although I'd imagine that downloading at 5 mb/s is good enough for me :) The fastest I've ever gotten was... 8-12 mb/s with a seedbox. I wonder how that's possible though...

Seriously you really don't, America's speeds are waaay faster than most of Western Europe, fastest speeds in UK are 24Mb and thats like only in the centre of London, if you live on top of your ISP's servers, the max I can get is 2.4Mb where I live, this is normal.
The only places to get good speeds in Europe are Sweeden and Eastern Europe and there are other problems in Eastern Europe, like the fact you have no money. (No offence to eastern europeers :P)
