Thread: IPtorrents account disabled.

Today, I found out I just got my IPtorrents account disabled. And I have no idea how it has happened. It's not like IPtorrents is one of the rarest trackers out there but still useful for some things. ^^
And I would like to know why I got banned. And if it's worth to go after a new one. (yes I also have TL for example, but wouldn't let my sister use it. ;) )

Here is the story:
I had a good ratio, 2+ and enough buffer (15GB orso)

A while ago I got an warning there for handing out an invite to a ratio cheater. That is all. Not banned.
Now I recently have download much there. But yesterday I let my sister download a movie, on the same pc as the one I use to download my things, only a different User account. It was one movie. It uploaded till 0.061 till she had to log of. Today when she reconnected an error message popped up. Saying like something like pass in torrent wasn't right. When I checked my account on IPtorrents it said I was disabled when I tried to log in.

Anybody knows a way to contact them or find out why I got disabled?
She couldn't have download a lot from there without me knowing it. Password is to hard to crack, and not enough HD-space to even mess up my ratio.
Also wouldn't want to accept a new account if I might be IP-banned.

Okay, think I have written this down a bit wrong, It's:
1 IPtorrents account.
2 Different Windows XP accounts.
Everything else was the usual, Expect of what I have told, which isn't a very strange situation...

try and enter the IRC and ask a mod?

What is their IRC channel? Did a fast attempt on IRC.IPtorrents.com, but didn't work.

hey Elonoir,I just want to tell ya that it's not you having two separate Windows accounts since they already have same root & temp folder which is reasonable,so I guess the other possible reason is your last warning that they found out abou that Cheater you invited,so they decided to ground you both...

WTF are you talking about ? you seem not having a single clue of what she's talking about....she didn't invite anyone to use her account...she just told her sister to download a movie using her 2nd Windows account...

Does your sister have a separate account there? If yes, 2 different users, same IP address is my best guess, a separate windows account would not make a difference.

That is what I toughed. And I only invited a ratio cheater once not any more after that, the other invitees got a note of that, would be put as a note on my account but nothing happened after that, been able to enter there for at least something around a week after that.

And it's just a seperate windows account, not an IPtorrents account. I am smart enough to not do that... Otherwise they should fire me from this staff team right away! xD
