Default Illegal downloaders ‘are music industry’s biggest customers

Like the title says. Due to recent research. Demos have found that illegal downloaders spend on average £30 more a year on music than law abiding citizens

I'd like to take the time to congratulate every last single illegal downloader out there for your fine contribution!

Im not lol, however people who are very keen on music will generally be the ones who download as they just cant get enough. Our government is so annoying, but then again the chance of someone being caught more than once is so very small. Hmm I just thought of a topic to post.

If your topics about how many times people have been caught, or whether or not people have been caught. It's already been posted.

I only buy music that i've downloaded and really enjoyed.

    Same here.

IF it's good music, hey, they deserve my money.
I need CD's to play in my stereo anyway.

To be honest, I've never bought music, I mean back in the day when I was 12 years old or so I'd buy like linkin park cd's but since I came into the bittorrent world I haven't bought crap.

    Bad on my part=/

Lol don't worry there's thousands upon thousands of other downloaders that cover your shameful cheap skateeness (Wooo i invented a new word) XD
That's understandable. I get really annoyed when my family and friends spend good money on movies, games, music etc that i've downloaded and deleted because they were crap :001_tongue:

hmm i can see how it might be true because people who download find and explore way more music than people who don't download (illegally). There is a price barrier and the fact that it costs money to buy songs and explore other groups' albums or tracks. you can argue that sites like myspace and pandora or lastfm have free songs to stream but they offer only a few and we are left wondering what the rest of the album sounds like. this is where the downloading comes in. you get a chance to listen to it it its entirety and decide if you want to buy it.

Personally, I buy music that i like a lot or from the artist(s) i like the most.

I haven't brought a music CD for a few years now. Why I hear you ask? Because I object to paying $20-$30 of my hard earned money for the 3 good songs that are included, the rest just seem to be there for space fillers.

If every song was good and not a space filler then I would, untill that day happens my money will continue to be spent on other items.
