I think I have hear about this before. It makes sense. I get to listen to music which i would probably never buy, and end up ejoying the artist(s). I then want to support said artist by purchasing their music. But honeslty, last time a bought a cd was a Super Eurobeat album years ago, which most people on here won't probably know about.

Personally, I hardly ever purchase any music, I know people who have spent over $10,000 in Itunes buying music, which is just pathetic in my opinion. I used to buy music for my portable cd player when I was younger, but every since I've introduced myself to the torrenting world, there is no point. The only time I purchase a CD would be when it's a present to a relative/friend. Also, I get so fed up when my family/friends buy software/music/movies, it actually ticks me off, especially my dad he sees something like "driver-bot" and he buys it, which is like total junk that can be downloaded of a tracker in a matter of minutes, at least my mum has learned to not buy movies, but just ask me to download it for me, she the smart one :D

I download and listen to........if i like i buy it. Thats the whole point of downloading. Other thing is m from a place where we don't have even a single Legal Shop where i could buy a genuine CD. So there's no point for me buying. I buy only if i have to gift it to someone. That too order from eBay...

I feel the same way staffrodore.
I usually only buy singles, on beatport and such. :001_smile:

    Bad on my part=/
No, that's totally fine. When copyright holders decide to give you a reasonable option, then you can start feeling guilty.

Thanks for the source. It applies perfectly to my personal case. If I like a CD I buy it. Only if I believe that the artists deserves it. And you should all consider doing it. We are nothing without principles. I'm not saying don't download, just stick to your principles, which make you an individual.

    Why would I buy a CD? I don't own a CD player.

so crazy I've heard that some companies only make profit by just catching people in copyright and such.
