Thread: TB Gone?- any news on what happend to Torrentbytes.net?

Hey all...I just joined this community...is a big mystery to me why Torrentbytes has disappeared!

Any info out there to causes?

Loved that tracker...super fast and good content.

They are not saying what is goin on but said there is no ETA so somethin bad must have happened

Hmmm... They're hosted in Amsterdam, and the Dutch government has really started cracking down on torrent sites ever since the PB (spec)trial. Their ISP might have been forced to pull the plug. Hope everything works out.

Any tips for a noob are appreciated by people too...have been in low level invites over the last 24 hours, been slow to respond to couple of posts, still hoping to get an invite to something decent.

I still find myself using this site for some stuff even though I'm a member of many of the "high-level" trackers out there. It's a great place, easy to maintain ratio, decent speeds and pretimes, etc. Still, I guess I really didn't even notice it was down, so I guess I don't use it THAT much.

Hopefully they'll find their way back to existence, because I really do think it's probably one of the best "starter" trackers out there, and quite possibly one of the best period.

I pretty sure was couple of weeks...10 days anyway.

Got an update from jono...says the database was stolen, when (if) it comes back users will be starting from scratch.

I agree about TB, found it easy to maintain ratio over the years and speeds were the best I experienced. But funny, now that I am here, learning alot in a short period of time. Never considered TB 'low level'...but see why now that I am here.
