    Default TVT.com VS TVT.ro?.. Seriously !

Can someone please explain the difference and which is better? My research has shown that TVT.com (Currently Open Signup)is a beginner tracker even claimed to be well under Demonoid . Where as TVT.ro is on par with TL or RevTT according to the same source. Which albeit is out of date somewhat.

Whats the real deal, Im not looking to join undesirable sites, I like to deticate myself to the best of the best.

Evidence to the contrary is a GA going on asking for more proofs for TVT.com than TVT.ro in the same post.

If someone could enlighten me I would appreciate it greatly!

    Thanks,

    James

Anyways I think you confused it with TVtorrentz.org which has open signups(maybe not now )

Back on topic,I d say both are equally good,I have TvT.ro and its got a good collection of all the things I need, good amount of seeders too and a lot easier to seed that something like BitMeTV

They both serve different purposes and neither of them can be compared to the likes of TL or RevTT or Demonoid. They're dedicated to TV shows, not general/0Day content. Both of them have WAY more TV content than any of the aforementioned general sites.

In short, TVT.ro is probably the best on the net to get 720p encoded episodes. Pretimes are on-par with 0day sites like TL and even RevTT, and all HD episodes are freeleech. WAAAYYY better than BitMeTV for the HD content. The regular xvid encodes tend to pre a little bit slower than other sites, but that's clearly not what they emphasize (and by later, I mean about 30 minutes or so on average). There are a decent number of season packs, many of which are freeleech. I've been using it as my main source for downloading new episodes lately, because the speeds are consistently very good. I can get 1 MB/s+ on new torrents, and higher on torrents that have been out a while. Good RSS feeds too. The community is pretty much nonexistant because of issues revolving around language, but the staff are very friendly.

TVT.com has pretty much everything you would ever want, but they're a bit slower when it comes to pretimes for new shows. I've honestly never tried searching for a TV show at TVT.com that I couldn't find. I love the way things are organized. I've been using it to grab some TV series that I missed or haven't seen in a while to keep me entertained.

In any event, if you use torrents for TV shows, you won't be disappointed with either tracker. They both have a lage membership of people who love TV shows, both are very easy to maintain a good ratio on and have a generally very comfy feel to them. If you love TV shows, I'd recommend both of them, but you should be able to decide which caters more to your taste by my description above. Both of them are better than BMTV, imo.

If you're just looking for a new site to add to your collection, neither of these sites will probably suit you well. They're very specialized trackers and neither one cares about how "selective" they are perceived to be (something that seems important to you since you've tried to compare them to TL, RTT and Demonoid). They want good members who care about TV shows, and such users tend to gravitate towards them and thrive on the tracker while collectors tend to lose their accounts rather quickly.

You are right I did make that mistake. So there is a 3rd TVT lol
It is tvtorrents.org, I saw the signup was up.

Still, would you put one over the other?

Im not a collector, thats exactly the opposite of what I am. I only categorized them that way because the source I was reading did. I just dont like joining sites I can't truly believe in because its a waste of time for me, no other reason. I was on Demonoid exclusively for years and was perfectly content until I knew better. Same idea now, Ive noticed better content, rare er , faster from better sites like RevTT, Just want to make sure Im looking at the content first.

Like neuro mentioned, TvT.com has a better selection of shows, especially non-popular ones, and their organization system of categorizing shows by season is really helpful. Their pre-times are considerably slower than TvT.ro but the variety of shows they have make up for it. With TvT.ro. I especially like that ALL their HD is freeleech which makes seeding extremely easy when you can't download the SD versions right when they are released.

Well, it sounds like the source you were looking at is basing their reviews solely off of the rarity or "level" of the tracker, and that's totally useless. These trackers are all about content. If you're like me, and one of the primary reasons you use torrents is to download TV episodes, you'll love these trackers, because you'll be able to find every TV show you could possibly imagine and then some. If your primary concern is pre-times for the most popular shows on TV, then clearly a 0Day site like RevTT or even SCC/ScT might suit you better (but we're really only talking about 10-40 minute difference in pre-time compared to tvt.ro). If you care about a wide variety of TV shows, being able to select whatever you want, get recommendations, etc, then either one of these trackers would be a good match (I described the differences between the two above). Like I said before, both of them have WAY more TV content than any of the 0Day/general trackers. It's their specialty, and they do it well.

Another thing is that both of these trackers only serve un-rar'd content! This may not seem like a big deal at first, but it's grown on me so much that I can't even picture going back to futzing around with RAR files for my TV shows.

So, in short, I'd highly recommend picking one of these up if you're interested in using torrents for tv shows. If not, then don't bother, since you probably won't find what you're looking for. I very rarely download SD content anymore, so TVT.ro has been my primary source for new content since the pre-times are great, speeds great, no rar files, and they have pretty much every show you can imagine whereas some of the 0day sites often miss an episode/release of a show that is less popular.
