Just a friendly reminder that trading our credits for forum rep or other forms of credits elsewhere is against the rules. It seems like common sense, but we recently caught a number of users trading rep for creds on torrent-invites.com. Both receiving credits in exchange for giving rep, and sending credits in exchange for rep are grounds for permanent bans.
If you want SciHD credits, just seed!
And those of you with too many credits, you can give them away to SciHD members on the forums
You are allowed to give away credits elsewhere of course, but if you receive rep in exchange (Even if you don't ask for it), you will be penalized. If it is common courtesy to give rep in exchange for credits, specifically ask not to receive rep or else you WILL be punished.
Giving our credits in exchange for avatars and things is still OK, though we really wish you'd use our forums for that too

And note that while I said rep, I mean any kind of credit system outside of our own.


i think all sciencehd transactions need to be completed in pm or on the irc in the future. i like this place, but i do not want to start getting banned from trackers because of people being sloppy sending and receiving credit. some admin are watching this place and as we were mentioned specifically it proves people here have got to be careful.

I have never heard of SciHD but thanks for the heads up anyway.
I've become very worried recently. I've seen so many members banned. I've seen posts that are only a couple hours old and the member had been banned. I know i'm not doing anything wrong but i'm just worried that someday i might do something that could be seen as breaking the rules *bites nails*

EDIT: does thanking someone count as rep? or is it just the iGiver thing?
