My very own top 3
1) Weeds : action, sex, drugs and lots of laugh. It can't get any better!
2) The big bang theory Lots of dry sarcastic humor, random scientific phrases you can pick up too
3) 30 rock Great actors, lots of witty intellectual humor too !

King of Queens
A fat guy gets the skinny girl .....they have a funny, but great marriage and great friends. The best comedy there will ever be. Only on Dvd though.
My favorite comedy series are everybody loves raymond, king of queens and friends.

My favorite comedy series is Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, sooo best sense of humor!! Love it! =)

I really dig, king of queens and the office although it got canceled i think:(.
Second this post, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia is awesome, Danny Devito is the stuff in this one. The welfare episode alone makes the whole series worth watching.Originally Posted by markish

Here are some I recommend:
1. Extras (BBC): It's pretty much the best sitcom that ever aired on TV. If you like(d) this, check out the next one too.
2. The Office (UK Version): It's soooooo much better than the American remake and many of the US version's jokes from season 1 come directly from it. I would probably tie it with Extras 'cause it's made by the same guys. (Also: make sure you watch the christmas specials too!)
3. Arrested Development: Really hilarious 'mockumentary'-ish sitcom.
4. Californication: It's a bit classy for some, but I find it quite good.
5. The Modern Family: There have only been two episodes aired so far, but I've found them very good. Maybe something to look forward to as a weekly dose of comedic therapy
