Rescue me, although it's more of a drama, there's a bunch of funny scenarios that are classified as comedy, and they happen a lot, I suggest some of you look it up on youtube :)

Id certainly go with The Big Bang Theory....funniest show on tv imo. Though How i Met Your Mother is a close second....
School of comedy - Kids doing humor, sounds crap but OMG! it works. Just download one episode or watch it on youtube and you'll see.
South Park - A lot of people dismiss this show before actually watching it. My dad (aged 58) said that it was immature and lame (his words). Showed him the "Make Love, Not Warcraft" he now owns 3 seasons and the movie.
Family Guy - Again dismissed before actually watching it. Just watch or download one episode and you'll see what i mean.
