Thread: Keeping that ratio up - any tips?

I've just joined IPT and I'm finding it hard to keep my ratio up. My connection has the ability to upload at about 80-90kb/s steadily but I'm only getting these poor upload speeds of 15-20kb/s max. As a result, my ratio is too low to download any fairly large files for fear of getting banned because of a low ratio.
Does anyone have a clue as to which torrents will have better seeding speeds over others? Any other solutions?

I got my ratio up using a great tactic:
Partial Seeding

Whenever a big release comes out which you don't feel like grabbing, just partial seed it. Download 1 or 2 of the .rar files and seed that..

On IPT, the R5-releases are really popular. Make sure that when a poular R5 comes out you download it right away and start seeding it asap. If necessary, just partial seed it.

Basically, just only leech stuff that has come out on the tracker today.

O, and porn also seeds well.

A good advice is to download 10% from a popular torrent and do that with many torrents and seed as much as you can. And you can seed to IPT some stuff you grabbed from other places. :)

Download the free leeches with low seeders and high leechers. Find the files around 1 gb with free leech and this will boost your ratio

also try seeding multiple files at once. especially on harder to seed sites.

Don't forget about bonuses on some trackers, these can really help to fix ratios.

Best way on IPT to build a huge buffer is to cross seed, partial seed, freeleech and use rss feeds to jump on popular torrents quickly. There are no scripts for auto download at IPT so u need to use rss. Try and get new movie releases or a torrent u know that will be a smash hit. These tend to have the best speeds. Usually almost all freeleech torrents have great speeds also. If u do all these things, i guarantee your ratio will go through the roof. Also once u get used to doing all this u will see that IPT is one of the easiest trackers to seed at.
