Thread: Keeping that ratio up - any tips?

i switched to a seedbox and it certainly helps

A seedbox def helps out alot!

Just find free leach torrents and torrents that have been recent uploaded or recent releases and seed those for a day or two and you will be fine.

Try load balancing between your trackers like for example if your ratio building on RevTT and you want to download this new movie and your ratio is ok for another movie site like pTp. Download on pTp and keep seeding on RevTT then do the opposite.

Partial seeding works well..so does freeleech but not all sites have them. I've got my best results by cross-seeding - on TL I cross-seeded one torrent for over 25GB up and still going with 0GB download. Just make sure that you check and make sure that the files are identical before you try.

What i do to keep my ratio alive when i didn't have seedbox i just downloaded a new release that i knew was going to be downloaded alot even if i didn't want it, and keep seeding that torrent untill no one downloaded it anymore.

I agree with the seedbox solution, especially if its just short term use as even a week makes a considerable difference. Unless you download hundreds of GB per week, I think a week of using a seedbox will get you a pretty nice buffer.
