are you sure you pressed the sign up BUTTON and not the link (button is above row of link)

Yup i am sure. It said a confirmation email has been sent. But I couldnt find it even in my SPAM folder :-(
I even tried to re-signup, and it failed (err: email already exists

They probably are over loaded due to the influx of users.

The news about ScL being open is everywhere.

If the mail doesn't come I'm sure you could just pop into the IRC and they'll help you out. The staff are pretty awesome people.

I think there were only 6000 odd users till about 3 days ago before the site went down,just checked right now and its crossed 8000!!!!!

Heaps of them will get pruned or disabled again lol.

ScL used to be TEH SHIT back in the day, I think they lost activity due to being so secret but they are really trying to build the site back up. Great move by ScL staff, first with the invites to everyone and now with open signups. Hopefully this will breathe some fresh air into ScL.

agreed, it was good back in the day...hope it gets better........

They should allow cross seeding...not only will the dedicated userbase increase but maintaing a ratio in a low # leecher environment won't become an issue.
