Thread: What to do with trackers you don't use?

I have a couple of trackers that I find really don't offer me what I want and barely use them. What is the best way to trim my trackers down to just the ones I use?

If they have vacation mode of some sort that is usually a good way to go about it for a short time. Though I find the best policy is to try and only get trackers that have something you may want or need there. For example having two 0day general trackers makes cross-seeding much easier. If for some reason you feel that you really don't want the tracker after all there is usually info in the tracker FAQ on how to get your account deactivated, but that is a waste of an invite.

Just don't log into them. Eventually they will get disabled for inactivity.

Or some trackers allow you to PM a mod to get your account disabled.

I would just like to say to sycoclown and staffrodore these aren't sites that I got invites for they were open sign-ups but I'm just wondering what the best way to go about this because in the faq they say fill out a forum but the link goes no where.

As I said, just don't log in to either the tracker or it's site. Give it a month or 2 and your account will cease to exist.

All trackers prune inactive accounts to make way for new members.

yea, just let em die dude. they will just give out another invite or let 1 more person in when they open signups again.

Sorry I didn't mean to sound harsh that wasn't my intention. It's been a bit a of a rough day. Like they said let it die out of ask to get the account disabled by a mod.

u could ask the mod to disabe it...a simple pm shall do

Just be inactive for about 42 days (for most trackers) you will be disabled.
