2009-07-01 - Birthday FREELEECH
On the 2nd of July Brokenstones will exist for 5 yrs. (oh my, that's only a few hours left to buy some cake for all)

We all are very pleased how things have evolved throughout time, eventho BS had its times inwhere the server was down. It's with the help of amazing members and wonderful staff that we always have managed to return. And it did take so much less than 5 years to grow into a great and by many beloved Mac community based on fun, support and sharing.

A lot has changed in these five years aswell for BrokenStones as for torrentcommunity in general. But some things never change and those mostly are the best things.

We as staff feel being thanked by all members already by seeing how much sharing there is, and how much members are involved in this community and have helped to make us into what we are today.

And how can we thank all of you, well offcourse with putting up our best efforts to maintain BS to stay a great place and with the help of you to turn it into an even better place in future. This we offcourse will do.

And offcourse we can thank you all by giving you all the change to "download all that you always wanted to have but always were afraid off to download."

2009-07-01 - FREELEECH extended
Seems we've made a small mistake with freeleech setting, and there was a small confusion as for when it would start.

So due to the first mistake some people did get download amount counted to their account. Hereby our apologies for that.
As for the confusion, well it has started already and due to this we will extend freeleech with two extra days.

Freeleech will now end: Tuesday 7-July at: 16:00 GMT If you are in another timezone please check this for your own local time.

Thanks for the understanding and hopefully you'll all find these two extra days a good solution.

It seems that quite a lot missed out on yesterdays quick fire freeleech so I think we'll have another one. This time it will be a longer one but for an undisclosed amount of time, but it will be for a minimum period of 12 hours.

Please note that as soon as freeleech is switched off if you have not completed the download it will start to count, so the sooner you get it downloaded the better
