At last - SqN (Scene Quality N) is out of beta and recruiting new members. Barely two weeks old, this new music tracker is one of the most visually stunning torrent sites we’ve ever come across. But don’t let this aesthetically pleasing beauty fool you - there’s actually some torrents underneath the hood of this one (1,500 and counting). Here’s how to get invited to this hot new ratio-free music tracker.

SqN Invites:

There’s only one way to get into SqN, and that’s through IRC recruitment.

Join the above channel and ask for an interview. We’re gonna be honest with you here; it’s a somewhat difficult interview (I know, I went through it without using the FSF connection). You’ll need to supply some ratio proofs (or profile links) to other music trackers so come prepared, and read the Topic in the IRC channel. Here’s a sample of some (but not all) of the questions you’ll be faced with:
1. Why do you want to join SqN?
2. What can you contribute for the tracker? (do you have a seedbox? - can you upload?)
3. We need to see ratio proofs at 2 other music trackers where you have at least 20GB upload and 10GB download. (direct profile links can’t hurt)
4. Do you have any skills? (eg: photoshop 1337, irc master, php skills)
5. What do you think about trade, fake, scam? Do you ever trade?
6. How big is your music library?
7. Where are you from?
8. Will you actually USE the account?
Uploading Torrents to SqN:

Assuming you’ve been accepted to join, the first thing you’ll want to do is upload some music! Unlike many, even most music trackers - uploading is not permitted for regular user class folk at SqN. You’ll need to apply for uploader status (class called "Music Publisher"). Why? Two reasons, actually: To ensure great speeds on the torrents (i.e. almost everything is seedbox hosted); and to keep content well-organized.

A Freeleech (ratioless) Music Tracker

Consider SqN to be freeleech - since it’s a ratio-free site, torrents need to be seeded either to a 1:1 ratio or for 48 hours. No problem for all us hardship cases on lowly connections - just hit the 2 day mark and you’ll be fine. There are no global ‘ratios’ kept, although the overall upload GB stats are recorded and incorporated for user class promotion:

SqN offers torrents for every genre of musical preference. There’s also a good selection of videos to choose from, as well as sections for FLAC, OSTs and Music DVDs. While much of the stuff is "scene", there’s also a handsome array of packs & discogs to choose from.

• Anonymous uploading — If preferred, there’s the option to upload torrents anonymously. You’ll still receive the stats but others won’t be able to tell that the torrent was uploaded by you.
• Seedbonus System — Users receive 0.5 points each hour for every torrent that is seeding. This is virtually unlimited - for example, if you’re seeding 100 torrents you’ll receive 50 points per hour. Points can be swapped for invites, upload GBs, a custom title or to remove a warning.

Very curios myself. Please report back with the verdict Giga. I'm tired of seeing "The server load is very high at the moment. Retrying, please wait..." from CE. Besides that, CE is my favorite music tracker so far.

Is this electronic music only?

does anyone have an opinion of the tracker yet? I saw it mentioned on filesharefreak, but I'm wondering if its worth the effort of interviewing for. I'd love to see a review of it as well if someone gets a chance at some point.

I personally like this tracker because it is ratiofree so you can pick up anything you want without worrying about your ratio, offcourse you need to seed for a while, after that you can delete if you didn't like it. Apart from that the design is very good and the forums are pretty neat.

The Pre's are a bit late. I think it will grow with time, but you can't find everything here..
you need to have a waffles or what.cd if you need retro music.
