part download to start, say get a poular movie or better still a pc game, only dl say 500mb of the torrent, it ok and the trackers have no problem with it, but its an excellent way to get youre ratio up, and never panick download if youre ratio not so good

try uploading content that is available on your private tracker that always works for me
if there are many other seeders.....u need to have a better connection, or maybe buy a seedbox...google it...

I had the same problem at first. I asked in the private tracker's forums and they responded what kermit did.
if on what.cd find old cd's and rip them to FLAC, then upload
try cross uploading from other sites
Do it OpenDNS way it works well. It makes for faster torrents too.
I was having the exact same problem! I thought I was going to get banned for sure at TL! So long as you didn't go nuts and download 10 gbs and have 24 hrs left to seed that much or more, the mods will give you a time extension if you just ask for it. If the torrent you're seeding doesn't look like gaining any leechers, go and download a torrent that will have a lot of leechers so it's easy to seed, explain your situation and after they give you the time extension you'll be on your way to a good ratio. Very nice people on TL that's for sure ;).
