Since most of the users just keep compainting from not being able to seed back or build any good buffer especially in High level trackers where most of the Uploaders are on seedboxes not letting anybody seed back,so here is my two cents about it :
1. Jump on newely added torrenst as soon as possible as leechers just rush in to download the file,so get it done & enter the seed swarm to build a quite good ratio on each file.
2. Take advantage of every event being held in those trackers by downloading then uploading as very much as you can so that your uploaded amount overweight your download one.
3. DO some partial seeding knowing that this is already fobidden in some trackers as they don't recognize how good the sources are that you used to claim that file (Just review over Rules/FAQ in each tracker or even ask in their forums to know if this is allowed or not)...Still some other trackers, most likey low level ones, just don't mind where you got the file from, but how much you would benifit the swarm having that file already on your HDD ready for seeding back....this also is considered a valuable technique that can Boost up your ratio real good...
Note : that those simple procedures are based on my past experience around different trackers using different BT clients...
One last thing,I might not have answered your main question Directly, but I guess when you read those above mentioned steps you would know what to do & how to do it !! :D
what i did to buffer a bit was a clicked the leechers button and found the torrent with the most leechers , found it on public DL'ed it there seeded it on private :)
As a general rule of thumb, as soon as I become a new member of any private tracker I assess the site's rules on ratios, etc. and then I scout their torrents for the most popular ones and download them immediately (this is usually 2 torrents at the most).
So literally for the first two weeks of becoming a member, I seed the bejesus out of those popular torrents in order to establish a solid positive ratio, which usually amounts to anywhere from a +5GB to +20GB positive ratio in the first week or two.
Yea it requires patience, but this method of mine usually withstands the test of time as I thoroughly seed anything I download anyways, thus having established my strong ratio the first two weeks I never have to worry ever again if for some reason no one is leeching on a certain site or seeding is just hard to come by. Its a money cushion![]()
yea thats how the cookie crumbles sorry.
Damn the last few days I was having the exact problem and getting pissed of I think this thread completely answered my all questions ! thanks a lot guys :)
Its the fault of seedboxes also
very good info, thanks!
