Yes this method known as cross seeding works very well and can help you create a very nice TL buffer I would recommend buffering your trackers before you DL from them so you can enjoy downloads and maintain a good ratio on TL i uploaded 50GB before i started using it and its worked out so far be warned hard to seed trackers are still hard to even create a buffer on due to the nature of their selective content.

Like others mentioned,

- try with popular tv series
- try recent torrent
- try to find freeleech
- download same file from other tracker and cross seeding
- use seedbox

TL is quite an easy site to keep a ratio on. Once you pass the 5GB mark you shouldn't have too much of a problem.
Whatever you do don't download a pack just because it says it has 16 leechers. If the torrent is old then these are more than likely partial seeders. But show as leechers because they don't have the whole thing. You will just waste ratio and eventually probably get warned or even worse, be banned.
Cap your download to the same as your upload. You'll notice if you don't do this, that as soon as you've finished downloading something, your upload speed will be considerably lower. Thats because the priority is given to those still in the swarm.

Cross seeding from elsewhere is pretty easy and a good thing to boost your ratio.

1. Download something from 'Tracker X', once finished, download it from 'Tracker Y' check the box that says something similar to don't start download automatically. It will show in your torrent client but won't be downloading.
2. Right click the torrent and press something similar to 'Save to..' or 'Set Download Location' and point it to where you just downloaded the file.
NOTE: Make sure it is 100% the same. NFO's, samples and .sfv's.
3. Go back to your torrent client and right click that torrent and press 'Force Re-Check'.
4. It should check and show as 100% and start seeding.

The cap your download to the same as your upload is something I haven't seen before. It really does make sense. I'll give it a try. Also, cross seeding works out pretty well for me too. I just never knew it had an official name.

okay here are few tips--
1.first if you see a big file ( eg 30gb movie pack or mp3 pack) with lots of leechers and 2-3 seeders,dont just jump onto it, most probably people are part seeding it.part seeding means they hve downloaded a part of the whole file and they are just seeding that part and they never downloaded the whole thing ,thats why they are still leechers for the system.So always start with files with sizes 3-4 gb.
2.As already mentioned you can do cross seeding.cross seeding is basically that you download a torrent from some site and upload it to some other site.First you hve to make sure that the file is exact same-size, uploader group must be same too.

how to do cross seeding---I will take demonoind and torrentleech as an example and the torrent name is "X".so i downloaded X(.torrentX) from demonoid and when its 100% done then i dont touch it again.now i go to TL and i download the same exact torrent file(.torrentX) and then i rename it first(eg rename it .torrentX123) and then save it.and now i open it with my client and do force re check.now your are good to go.

Why do you have to rename the .torrent file--->because i wanna seed it to demonoid as well and + to TL, but if i didnt want to seed it to demonoid then i didnt have to rename it,but you have to do force recheck..

Most trackers don't allow that you upload their torrents to another site. But the content
is yours and you can do whatever you want to do with it. (Unless specific mentioned
not to do so). In the case of TL: In their forum is a complete article written
how to upload the same content downloaded at an other tracker.

Yes it is good to download brand new torrents to help your ratio. It also couldn't hurt to download "free" torrents so that anything you upload will be purely a credit to your ratio. but then again it wouldn't matter unless there's a swarm of seeders and leechers that you can share with.

i usually download the freeleech ones and seed them to improve my ratio..u will always find them to be seeded for a long time.cross seeding is also a good way to improve ratio.
