just put the torrents in order of the ones with the most leechers and download small files or a piece of the torrent and just let it seed.

well many things have been mentioned and ofcourse freeleech is the best together with outside seeding. especially in the beginning when u just joined and have 0/0. best way 2 do is outside seeding and or freeleech.

on TL for instance you have wait times and no freeleech. so best is to get something outside and seed their. preferably a few torrents so u know for sure u are hitting your max upload on TL.
(I always find it a waste if i leave my computer running and its only upping 50 % of my upload speed).

Once the wait times are gone I suggest downloading tv shows. just when they are about to released. and leave them running. Those torrents get +1000 hits and you are sure the entire night will be running @ fullspeed. look at previous episodes and how how many snatches they got. stargate is always popular download 350 mb leave it running all night and you are sure u hit 5+ ratio back with just 100 kb upload.

you have to realize that when you download a 4gb movie file and your upload is 100 kb. it takes a while to seed back. around 11 hours. and if u have to compete with seed boxes and crazy connections. you don't stand much of a chance and you will be required to seed the file for days and days. unless it is really popular.

in other words don't expect to be able to compete with seedboxes. use small files to build up your ratio and therefore get credit to download the large files.

There are some sites like HDAHOY which give seed bonus, i.e points are awarded base on the number of hours you seed regardless of whether u are uploading or not. Then u can exchange the points for upload credits..

download the newest torrents and seed for a long time, or find freeleech torrents with leechers and download those

I usually pick some golden torrents or freeleech content if available and let these seed forever :)

Get any freeleach stuff you can and also check for any new stuff in high demand and seed it for a long time. Even if you don't want it it's better to download something you don't want than going after all the stuff you do want and getting banned for a low ratio.

i was the same with tl when i 1st went on there. so i started downloading off other sites and uploading it to tl. then soon i got a good ratio.

in my opinion some times when sites have freeleech download a torrent and keep seeding it.
