Thread: Recommend me a torrent site for TV RIPS

Hi, I'm new around here and looking for a few pointers.

Can I have some suggestions for private sites that I may obtain good tv rips from, preferably X264 files. Stuff like heroes, dr.who, lost etc etc

New shows like heroes, lost, dr. who etc are available easily. Try eztv.it, it's a public tracker. Most decent general private trackers like bitsoup should have 'em too. If you're lookin for exclusive tv content try tv.torrents.ro (sign ups are open occasionally, keep checking) & tvtorrents.com (you'll have to find an invite - good luck here!).

Have used eztv quite a bit, they tend to be xvid's though - and painfully slow! I'm really after x264/mpeg4's for my PMP.

Also would like to track down some older stuff. ie friends (complete), scrubs (complete)....

What is the likely-hood of getting an invite to either of the sites you mentioned above?

It doesn have an invite system. Tvtorrents.com has an invites system, you ought to check the giveaway section here, someone will offer invites every now and then. I'm an avid tv show watcher myself, and am a member of both (I prefer tvt.ro) - but if you are a member of tvtorrents.ro & a lesser site like tvvault, it'll fulfill 95% of your needs. Best of Luck!

Ok, so any suggestions where I could look for HD-rip films? ie x264/mpeg 4's say 2-2.5gb in size. I've seen an x264 tracker mentioned?

finally, how do I add rep/thanks here - I can't spot anything other than iGiver?

I signed up on TV.torrents last night its a good tv tracker and may still be open.

For hd films you have various sites - hd-torrents.org, hd-bits.ro, bit-hdtv, hdbits.org, awesomeHD, most of these aren't that easy to get into. To get in, again, watch the giveaway section. Also after gaining 50 posts you can ask a request in the 'Request' section. But don't spam to reach 50 posts, you may end up getting banned.

For 'thanks' just click the 'thanks' button in a post or thread. For giving reputation points you need at least 50 post - newbies can't. The green rectangular square below the iGiver is the reputation bar.
