    Default Cross seeding concerns

I am hoping to get plugged into a few higher quality private trackers (thanks to many of the fine people here... ) and I want to ensure I do my part on the various trackers.

I have seen some sites recommend going after popular torrents (high leech ratio) on one site and then seeding that torrent on other sites where you want to boost your ratio (note: seeding - not uploading).

My question is: does anyone know of trackers where this approach is frowned upon (or worse, justification for getting the boot)?

If its the same file but on multiple sites, I don't see what the problem is? Just open it up twice to seed back to its original location + the new one...

Then again, I haven't seen anywhere that states you can't do it. If a particular site does have a rule against it, just don't do it with that site ?

I could be totally off the mark, but i'm sure we will see some other comments regarding this.

As long as you don't use the same torrent files for the upload. And make sure your torrent client doesn't automatically make a multi tracker torrent. I think most private trackers are fine with it. =)

I haven't heard of any negative action for doing this. In fact, i've always heard quite the opposite, it's praised. Trackers love more seeders, so i think it's a boost to the community, plus you can get upload stats without the download. :)
