Are there any trackers that come here and ban users?



Just curious if there have been any cases of this.

how would they know who you are unless you make it exceedingly easy to figure out (like not blocking out proofs properly, using different username, ect)..

seems like a lot of work but I guess I'm curious now too :p

Most likely sites that strictly say do not offer invites publicly or something like that. What.cd especially.

I haven't seen this happen around here.

I guess its all about protecting your identity to stay safe, always assume the Admin will look at every post and I tihnk you will be safe.

x264 had a spy here who reported me for giving away an invite. The n00b I invited used the same username so I could not even attempt to deny it.

heh... well the more i think about it, it seems unlikey that a site sends spy to an invite site. becuz nobody has the time to be reading bunch of forum posts. they might have checked it out a few times and just gave up on it and gone lazy. but u never know, you might be unlucky and get caught.

REVTT admins DO search this forum for members who have the same account name as their site, so if you get unlucky and do that, you just might be banned from their site. i've seen their admin/mod searched this forum for somebody's username and he got banned even with extremely high upload amount. WATCH OUT.

I think if you follow rules on this forum you should be fairly safe, well unless somebody will expose you, which is not good. however if I were admin and I would really like to find out who is giving invites all i would do is .................................................. .................................................. ........... well that's what I would do :)
