Thread: TL invites for regular Power Users (not VIPs)

Theory 1: Do standard Power Users (PU) get invites every 6 months (April & October)?

Theory 2: Are PUs limited to 1 invite in their queue? So if you keep an invite for more than 30 days, you will NOT receive a 2nd invite (regardless of how much you upload).

Theory 3: Do PUs that upload large amounts each month get invites more frequently?

i got one maybe last month. I have 920GB UL with 50GB DL.

Fade, did you up the entire 920gb last month? Do you remember how much you upped for the 30 days before the invite? A lot of people have huge TB buffers and/or old accounts, but when they cut back on recent traffic, they stop receiving invites. That's why many people think TL invites are given out randomly.

I was PU in TL and never received an invite. Had a ratio of more than 3x in the last month with more than 500GB ul and still didn't get any. I do still believe that it is quite random.

Mortivore - Did you up the entire 500gb last month? How old is your account? What is your total upload amount (not just last month)?

I received 2 invites in the past 3 months..... Over 3 ratio with 1TB upload.

Dunno how they give them out tho. It is a mystery :S

@99dmg - Do you remember how much you uploaded for 30 days before each invite?

You see, I have a 10x ratio and upload a min of 500gb every month. I also receive an invite each and every month. The only question is what the min ratio + recent traffic is (probably somewhere around 2x + 100gb or maybe 3x + 200gb).

FYI - I don't think TL cares about the total upload stats... They only care about the amount uploaded in the past 30 days.

Nope, I never used their forums
