Mostly because SceneHD don't like us the slightest and people would prefer to fill a request rather than making a GA and risk getting booted from the site, but indeed it the flow of invites got much slower. I used to see a good ammount of them back in the days. With FTN, well, it still is a huge rep booster to have a GA, so people will take advantage of that, even if they don't say it.

Because it is true. Scene encodes for HD stuff is bad, even the bad P2P groups are better than the scene and anyone who cares to compare will notice it (mostly because they are more concearned in racing than getting shit right, so if it has no glitches, it will be pred even if it looks bad). So, for a true HD lover, the content quality at SceneHD is indeed shitty.
I've never undertood why people want to join this tracker.

I've been looking at the request section for two years and i've seen all kinds of reasons. The best one was retention, but when scene is all about speed what is the point of getting oe encode from them?
