    Default Waffes vs what.cd

If anyone has an account with BOTH of these trackers please post what you think of each one. And if possible which one you consider above the other.

I'm thinking of trying to obtain an account on one of these but i'v heard that it's very hard to maintain a ratio, so i'd prefer to know which one I should put all my efforts into to try and get an invite.

    Cheers

Both are hard to maintain ratio. I like Waffles better though because it has a better collection, better pretimes, and it also does have free leech or half leech every now and then if you use their bonus point system. The only thing I like better about what is the organization of their torrents. Example: if you do a search for a certain artist, it will have all of the torrents organized by quality under the title of the album. Meanwhile, on waffles, you have to search through all the different versions of the same album.

So the benefits of waffles you would say outweigh the benefits of what.cd?
If so then i guess i'm gonna aim for waffles. Wider range of torrents is always better :)

I like what.cd better because it is easier to seed than waffles (although still hard) because it has more users that leech. But the biggest reason I like what.cd is their display system of the torrents (ditto PTP, TC). A song in what.cd lists all the formats (mp3, flac, ogg and others), whereas in waffles, only one format is displayed. what.cd is easier to search not only the song itself but the format that you are after.

Well Waffles in my opinion is easier to seed on but not by much, however What.cd seems to have a larger selection of music at least for the music I listen to.

Balauru isn't kidding about the What.cd admins, but it's not just the admins the whole community has this whole "I'm better than you attitude". The community over at Waffles is much more welcoming in comparison.

I would say thay are the same , even for music and other stuff they have. The only difference is that what.cd insists on giving music on different qualities. About seeding, the same, the hardest ones. Not so bad but you have to act wisely in order to upload good form a torrent
In other words, they are the best

I have account on both, but i prefer what. It has almost double amount of torrents (247k vs 472k), and the gazelle makes a big difference. When searching for an artist, you can find all his CDs in different groups (Albums, EPs, Compilations, Singles, Live Albums, Remixes, Bootlegs) and each CD has a group of different formats (v0, v2, 320, FLAC, ALAC, OGG ...) so it's very easy to find something you like. Ratio isn't very easy to to keep on any of them, but once you get some torrents and keep them seeding it's not that hard anymore. And waffles had freeleech like a week ago so you could have got a huge buffer in these 24h if you had an account.
Anyway, there are always some things that can be found on only one of these trackers so it's nice to have both of them ;)

I only have an account on What, but I haven't been having too much trouble seeding. They have a ton of torrents that are Freeleech, and you just need to leave as many of those running as you can.
