Thread: Bittorent search engine

So with the fall of btjunkie.org I have lost my go to bittorent public search engine. What are the alternatives to switch to?

I used to use IsoHunt, but they seem to do too much filtering.

Why would you go public when you could go private?

The good thing about btjunkie was that it also searched a lot of private trackers. But sometimes you just can't find what you need on a private, hence public.

Before I got back into private trackers (2 weeks ago or so lol), I used www.torrentz.com .

It searches btjunkie, piratebay, h33t, and several dozen others.

edit: not sure if it searches privatea, but at least this is something.

kat.ph is another good option.
though yes, as a member above said, torrentz.eu (the .eu is their new domain) is a very comprehensive 'meta-search engine'. demonoid and tpb remain evergreen choices, too (though for how long, i don't know. the btjunkie shutdown was a shocker for me).
