    Default banned for inviting?

Do trackers ban you if you use all your invites at once? I gave out 3x bmtv, 3x bm, and 6x revtt.

I was just told by the last member I invited that I was banned from bmtv. Reason he got was: ”be careful who you invites accept from, it can impact yours as well as their account”
I went to irc to find out exact reason but the site went off line.

Then I log in to revtt and received a 2 week warning.

Reason: Invites removed, invite giveaways are not allowed. You should only be inviting people you know.

I guess i'm just wondering how they found out? Or did I give out too many invites at once?

I don't wanna stop giving them away but if it leads to my accounts being banned, I have no choice.

I have heard they can find out with scripts that run in your browser. Search the forum, there is a tutorial for this. I also am aware that the staff of many trackers talk on irc and they may have just been talking and seen a pattern. If it was me I wouldn't give away massive invites all at once, and I would read the tutorial on this forum for protecting your browser. Just my 2 cents.

Perhaps by the country and that for example in day you have invited 3 friends, one from canada, one from estonia and poland (I mean IP, not what you define)..
And yes, RevTT has many good scripts for them, not so good to us..

That kind of things I suppose I wont understand, any other site would be proud about this, but no, they even make scripts to catch something like this, sick.
And non of your invited users is from banned countrys, right?

no everyone was legit and like i said, as soon as i gave the invites out, their rations were doing very good. honestly, i can do without the bmtv and bitme (assuming im banned since it pairs with the bmtv site) account. it just sucks that the people i invited are also banned for a stupid reason

These people are really smart. It keeps me wonder how they could utilized every exploits to their own advantage. Maybe the best security would running it on a VM.

There is no scripts to detect what sites you visit. There used to be a CSS exploit that could be used to see if you had previously visited somewebsite.com but that was patched more than a year ago by all the browser makers. Just tell them you're inviting your clan mates from a game. Which means you do know them.

Update: well the sites are back up and I wasn't banned from Bitme. As for Bitmetv, I tried talking to irc and they just gave me the run around so I just had to quit. But since I have BTN now, I don't really care for bitmetv
