I got the account details after half an hour.

I tried to log in but got disconnected immediately with the following error message:

Failed to initialize server
Reason: 502 reader6.xsusenet.com: Access denied to your node - newsadm@xsusenet.com

I can only assume that they are verifying the geographic location of your IP address and allow only users from Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and UK. I am not one of them :(

Yes,i use this as a backup\fill server. works good enough. has 600 days retention tho.

Grab a newsreader and configure your server details, simple. I recommend sabnzbd but you got a lot of alternatives (just to name some, albinz, newsbin, newsleecher,etc). Then if you're new to newsgroups NZBsRus.com - NZB, Search, Files, Newsgroup, Usenet, Download can give you an easier start. They locate the files and create the nzbs for you, similar to download a .torrent file, you just need to open it with your newsreader.
Try MysterBin NZB - Usenet Search Engine too it's the best search engine to check the groups yourself.

We should have a filesharing or non-tracker subsection imo. This really doesn't belong in the Bittorrent section, the problem is I don't know where to move it to.
