As feds are shutting down more and more file-sharing sites (megaupload, mediafire, fileserve, etc.), could torrent trackers be on it's way to the end?
let's discuss!

There is a very big difference between a filesharing site with hundreds of terabytes of data on it, and a torrent tracker.
There are many sites i am a member on with less than 1,2,3,4,5, thousand members. Why go after them when you can go after the big fish?
Sure, but both infringe copyrights. I dare you to find a filesharing site that has more music releases (And i mean quantity of albums, not quantity of links to each album) than what.cd, for example.
Yeah, you're right. It would be A LOT easier (and would "catch" more people) if they tracker TPB, and shit.. I guess we're safe for now :P
next question: who's next to shutdown? I bet on rapidshare. I used to have MegaUpload premium, what will happen about that? money back?
My bets are also on rapidshare, because it is and has been most widely spread filehost.
And i doubt that people will get their premium account money back...
Just check the data and compare it to a simple private tracker with 20k users.
