    Hi guys,

I'm sure many of you (not those with unlimited seedboxes i guess) have run across some torrents that just won't seed 1:1 because of no leechers, and you desperately needed hard drive space, have a limited seedbox, or are done trying after days/weeks of seeding (or any other reason). Well, it's a pain in the ass to have to look at and remember the rules of every single tracker to find out if/what their minimum ratio/time is for seeding torrents. So in an effort to help myself, I thought why not make the list public and help the TI community too? So to those that can, please help me out here to complete this list since I am not a member of every tracker out there. Just let me know here or in a PM the trackers you know of that do and don't define their hit and runs. If they do define their hit and runs, please let me know the specifics. All the people that help out will get a +rep from me. Thanks to all that participate!

P.S. I DO NOT condone hitting and running. This is meant to help people to AVOID hitting and running. And of course, seed 1.00+ whenever u can.

    Global Ratio Only:

    • Awesome-HD
    • BitGamer
    • BitHQ
    • BitSoup
    • BitSpyder
    • HD-Torrents
    • ILoveTorrents
    • iPlay
    • IPTorrents
    • PTP
    • TorrentBytes
    • Underground Gamer
    • Waffles
    • What.CD
    • XBOX-Sky

Minimum to Avoid Hit & Run (per torrent):

    • BCG - 0.80, or torrent's seed-points cost after 36(<500MB) or 72(>500MB) hours of seeding (seed-points cost varies depending on torrent size, ex: 1GB or less = 10 points, 2GB = 20 points, 3GB = 30 point...and 1 point = 1 additional hour of seeding after 36/72 hours)
    • ChristianTorrents - 24 hours minimum seed time, then either 1.00 or 24 additional hours of seeding
    • FunFile - 1.00, or at least 72 hours total if no leechers
    • GFT - 1.00, or 48 hours (does not have to be continuous, but don't H&R right after finishing the torrent. If you need to stop it, PM mod).
    • GOEM - new and popular tv torrents: 1.00 or 48 hours, large/season/dvdr torrents: 1.00 or 1 week, old torrents: 1 week
    • HD-Bits.ro - 1.00, 48 hours of continuous seeding, or 72 hours of total seeding
    • MovieTorrents - 1.00, or at least 48 hours
    • PTM - 0.75, or at least 60 hours (does not have to be continuous)
    • PTN- 1.00, or at least 72 hours within a week (does not have to be continuous)
    • SCC - 1.00, or at least 36 hours
    • SCL - 1.00, or at least 60 hours within 7 days after completing the torrent (freeleech - 3.00 ratio, or at least 60 hours)
    • SCT - 1.00, or at least 72 hours (packs - 1.0 or at least 120 hours)
    • STMusic - 45 minutes ("seeding at a low speed/small amount will get u a H&R")
    • TDC - 0.70, or at least 72 hours without leechers
    • TL - 0.40, or at least 60 hours
    • TVT.ro - 1.00, or at least 24 hours (someone verify this. i don't speak romanian)

    Other:

    • TVT.com - runs completely on a credit system, so no Global Ratio or H&R

SCC - Seed to a 1:1 ratio, or for atleast 36 hours

    Waffles - Global

    ScL - Freeleech seed 3:1 or 60hrs

TL - All torrents must be seeded to a minimum 0.6 ratio,we understand this isnt always possible so a ratio of 0.4 is acceptable in this case, or torrent must be left open seeding for minimum of 60 hours. If its a popular torrent with plenty of leechers then there is no reason why it cant be fully seeded to a 1.1 ratio.

TVTorrents - Works on a credit system.

When you upload, seed or share your file using the TVTorrents torrent file and tracker, you will get credits. If you're seeding you will get 1.5 credits for each byte uploaded (3 if a Premum Member). If you're downloading you will get 1 credit for each byte uploaded in the same torrent.
For example: Seeding 1 Mb will give you 1.5 Mcredits, or download 2 Mb and uploading 1 Mb will deduct 1 Mcredits from your account.

So, you can seed the crap out of newer torrents, and then download older torrents with no leechers and be ok.

IPT - Works on a global ratio, im 99% sure.

TorrentBytes, SeveredBytes, Underground Gamer, bitGAMER, iLoveTorrents and XBOX-Sky All run on a ratio only system.

HD-Torrents also runs on the ratio system but also has a credit system to buy upload credit (similar to PTP)

    GFT:
Seed every torrent back to 1:1 or at least try to do so. If it's not possible, seed for at least 48 hours. The 48 hours does not need to be continuous, but be sure not to hit-n-run just after you complete the torrent. If you do need to stop the torrent, please message a staff member BEFORE you stop so a hit and run does not register on your account.
    ChristianTorrents:
When you download a torrent from CT you are expected to seed it after the download completes. You are expected to seed until you meet the following guidelines. We encourage you to seed more than what is required, participation by everyone helps the community as a whole. Failure to meet the standards will result in sanctions being imposed. You are expected to meet the goals listed within 7 calendar days of completing the original download.

    1) 24 hour mandatory seed time. This means that you must seed a minimum of 24 hours Seed time = time actually online with your client active, so if you are online only 7 hours out of 24 you only have to seed for 3.5 days. Reaching a 1:1 ratio does not matter.

    2) After you have seeded for 24 hours, seed until the ratio is 1:1 or 48 hours has been reached. After 24 hours of seeding if you haven't reached a 1:1 ratio you must seed for an additional 24 hours or until 1:1 is reached. Again if you seed 7 hours out of 24 you can break it up as long as you hit 48 hours or 1:1 ratio within 7 calendar days.

Failure to meet these seeding requirements will result in 1) a warning the first time, 2) longer warning with loss of download ability during the warning. For those that continue to fail to seed, loss of your account.
    GOEM:
    1) New TV torrents that receive a lot of hits (Heroes, BSG, Rome, etc)... there's no reason for a user not to seed to 1.0 or for at least 48 hours. If you are able to leave your computer on long enough to complete the snatch, you must be able to leave it on long enough to seed it back! If you can't do that, do not download the torrent when it is new. Wait until the next day.
    2) Large torrents (TV seasons, DVDR's). these must be seeded to 1.0, unless you are a trailing leech. then you should be prepared to seed for at least a week.
    3) new high demand DVD releases (pre-releases of new popular movies). again, 1.0 unless you are a trailing leech. seed for a week.
    4) all other movies and older torrents. be prepared to seed for at least a week.

If you have a very limited upload bandwidth, you should extend the amount of time you are prepared to seed back a torrent. You should also limit your downloading so that you can maintain an appropriate share ratio.
In all cases, if for some reason you must interrupt your seeding, post a comment in the torrent.

    Iplay:
Always give back what you took and try to seed every torrent to a 1:1 ratio.
Give others a chance to seed. If your ratio on a single torrent is already above 2.0, you should give others the chance to seed too. Overseeding will only make it hard or even impossible for others to keep a good ratio.

    PTN:
Seed back what you download to at least a 1:1 ratio or at least try to. if it's impossible for you to seed to 1:1 then you must seed for at least 3 Days within 7 days of completing the torrent.
