Default what would be a good tracker?

    Hello everyone!

I just started to learn about private trackers and all and I was wondering what tracker could you suggest for me.

I often download american, british, taiwanese and korean tv series. I also look for movies as well.

I'm fine with a good dvdrip but I do sometimes download hd copies.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated ^^

IPT. You'll fit right in there. And very easy to get from a friend. Easy to maintain ratio, and content is superb. Demonoid is a close second, but not really private. I only use it when I can't find something from somewhere else.

    IPT for a new guy??
    Completely disagree.
Try this tracker called "Demonoid". It has a lot of the content that the other trackers have. I think you can use features without registering. But for some features you need an account. Sometimes they will have open registration, but right now its closed. The good thing is members here will have unlimited invites so you can ask them for one. In fact there are no ratio requirements so there is no pressure. Anyone can upload content there, as long as you obey the rules. Perfect for beginners.
In fact, it was where I started.

Seeing your introduction and your speedtest I would agree with bsbsbsbsbsbsbsbs, try Demonoid. It's better to start of easy, you can always try another tracker later.

I can also recommned ****YeahTorrents for you. You still have to follow tracker rules, but you can get bonus points to boost you ratio. Look in bonus section of the forum. FYT could fill some of your needs.

    Best Regards, KYLLAH

Are you kidding me? What is it exactly that you disagree about? ...really?

And, no pressure? No ratio requirements? That's the essence of a public tracker, to hit & run with impunity. Demonoid basically is just that. OP asked for advice for a private tracker... seeing as how demonoid is nowhere near private, my advice still stands that IPT is what everyone recommends.

Dude, FYT is ratioless, what are you talking about? There's no ratio, lol. Of course it's easy... like demonoid, another ratioless semi-public tracker.

Being a member of demonoid will hardly show anyone what's expected of them from a real ratio based private tracker, nor show the awareness of the consequences of being a bad user in general.

Agreed, content is superb there. But this in not the tracker I would recommend for a new guy trying to learn the ropes in the private sector. Snatching on Demonoid will never develop the essential torrenting habits needed to survive on a full on out private tracker like IPT, or any other ratio based tracker for that matter.

    ---------------

Okay, my post sounds harsh. I actually think everyone should at least have a demonoid account even if you never use it. And you'll never get pruned, right? I just don't recommend it for new guys that are trying to pave their way through the more laborious requirments of other trackers which actually need a considerable amount of effort and time in order to survive a warning or worse, a ban. Demonoid's is not even 100% private, the ratio system is faulty, and it doesn't even report stats correctly. Recommending this tracker to someone new is bad advice. IPT is really the best tracker for new guys.

My suggestion with his keyword? Look for Filelist.ro & AsiaTorrents.com in the 10% giveaway section.
Easy to navigate, search & keep a good ratio. Unless you dont know what ratio is.
