Ofc your seedbox/VPN provider will know what you are doing, but they must handle the info to authorities in order to get you in trouble. First, it is very unlikely thet FBI will demand you info when there are plenty of other unprotected people, second, turning you in would mean that the provider violated you privacy and chose to betray a costumer trust, could basically means closing their business if other people know about it. Again, it is possible, but veyr unlikely.

Now, chances to get caught by trying to filter IPs are much, much higher than this other method.
