Thread: AlphaOmega Question

I recenlty just started using this tracker on a large scale a few days ago.



Has anyone here ever downloaded torrent files from Alpha Omega that have annouce urls from other trackers. I noticed it once a few days ago, spoke to staff about it and I just brushed it off as something on my end.

I setup irssi a few days ago and I have a lot of torrents seeding from AO.

A few minutes ago, I was looking over my BTN HnR list to see what I could delete and it said I was seeding a file that I had never downloaed. So I went into the AO Label in ruTorrent and when I view the tracker information under the tracker tab, I noticed a lot of my torrents (not all) are pointing to other trackers.

Anybody else face this issue?

Hmm, my guess is that people are uploading the .torrents from other trackers (in this case BTN) to AO. Not sure why that would be a larger issue there than other sites...

Edit: but that explanation doesn't jive with it showing on your BTN seeding list. I would imagine that for something to show up on your BTN seeding list, the .torrent would have to contain your unique passkey for BTN, and that sure doesn't make any sense.

Yeah, I am not sure. Not sure if there is some type of error on irssi or what. I will have to watch it very closely.

Try re downloading the said .torrent and see if it comes with the btn announce.

Yes i get the same problem with Alpha Omega and currently stop using it as i dont want any trouble with other tracker.
