Thread: do i need SceneHD if i have scc,gft,ptm and fyt?

is a scene tracker right, like the ones i mention in the title
many people say is one of the best hd trackers but do i really need it since i have other scene sources (do you happen to find torrents there that you didn't find on other scene trackers)

If you are looking for only new HD torrents that can be found on trackers you already have than no you don't need it. But if you are looking for old scene hds than this tracker will be ok.

+ they have more scene HD torrents that any scene tracker out there
+ good HD tracker
+ they have a very large number of old scene HD torrrents

- original scene files (.rar)
- only scene HD torrents if scene didn't release the move you won't found it there

This is one of my absolute favourite HD trackers and in my Top5 or even Top3. I only compare SceneHD with the trackers you have mentioned above (SCC, GFT, FYT, PTM).
I also like how specialized illustrated his point, but I would like ot add a couple of, in my opinion, important things:
+ longivity of torrents - They have a unique Archive section (totally diffrent than the one from SCC) and combined with their bonus system this ensures that people seed their torrents for a long time
+ good speed on old torrent - This is one of the very rare trackers where you nearly always get very good speed on old torrents (except for the ratioless BTN and also B2S), because usually seedbox users delete their torrents pretty quickly and the other users have a very poor connection. SceneHD is a tracker with Swedish origins and 100Mbits connection are pretty common there and also available for not a lot of money.
+always a sample file included (scene standard), because SCC removes them

- not the fastest compared to SCC or GFT

It's probably not the best tracker for TV shows and new released movies (because their 'released after pre' times aren't the fastest), but if you are looking for movies that have been released a couple of weeks/months ago or excellent packs this is definitely a must have tracker.

the answer is NO if you don't need Swedish stuff. SCC is 5x better than SceneHD to me.

SceneHD = failHD, really, scene HD releases are either bloated or lack bitrate/tweaking, They loose in speed to GFT/SCC and i doubt their archeive is bigger than any of the giant general trackers like TL, IPT, Filelist...
I would rather get almost ANY p2p encode to a scene. Stick with a big general tracker and join a decent HD one that allows p2p encodes, preferably a chinese site.

If you belong to all the other trackers you certainly do NOT need this one, just so you know.

I would say, if you gave IPT/SCC then no need of any other tracker .. :)

If you have all other trackers you said then you don't need scenehd ever. If you search for old scene stuff then you maybe search in TL, IPT, SceneHD, SCC and PTM.
