Default What "educational" trackers are you using?

    Hey everyone...
What "educational" trackers are you using?

I was wondering if you guys can let me know what trackers you use for downloading "learning" content I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm talking about books, lesson plans, tip, guides, pretty much anything associated with learning or helping. My niece was recently diagnosed with PDD-NOS and I'm trying to find any helpful material I can. I need to understand it as much as possible and be helpful. EBooks, books on how to deal with it, and so on, whatever I can find. So just let me know what you guys use for "educational" trackers. I already have the TheGeekz, EBookVortex, some along those lines.

    Thanks a lot guys,
    DROID

    Okie.
    I Guess
Bitme.org <-- They have everything from video tutorials, to DIY stuff and ebooks
Mya <- Audiobook and Ebook Tracker.
Demonoid <- They have quite a few audio books.

Also if you need ebooks check out
library.nu. You need to register to use the search feature.

I have quite some e-learning trackers, because I read quite a few books every week and therefore use them a lot. Especially with books it's difficult to pinpoint it to one trackers, because it's simple impossible for one tracker/forum to have a good variety of only the best books/viedos from each category.
Trackers, I use every couple of days or at least weekly:

    • Bibliotik
    • BitMe
    • BitSpyder
    • MyAnonymouse
    • EBooks-Shares
    • ElbitZ
    • DocsPedia

    Forums:

    • Ebookee
    • Study Temple
    • Flazx
    • Library.nu

My preference for those resources perfectly reflects my interest in technology.

Speaking about your main problem you have to keep in mind that you won't find much specific information about PDD-NOS.
It's a pretty new sub-category of the autism spectrum and even Aspergers is just a recognized disease since 1991.
Here are some nice info links about PDD-NOS:
PDD-NOS - Autism Wiki - Living with autism, personal stories, questions.
Autism, PDD-NOS & Asperger's fact sheets | Overview of Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified, one of the Autism Spectrum Disorders

I think you would be better of looking for Aspergers or High functioning Autism, because they are very similar a lot more material is available.

If you need help feel free to PM me, but keep in mind that asking for an invite is not considered help.

Myanonymouse is easy to get into, the community is extremely nice, and their forums are really really great. Sites like bitspyder and bitme may have more content, but it's much more hardcore, harder to seed, and feels less like a community to me.

As far as PDD-NOS is concerned, you'll probably be better suited talking to a clinician. This is approaching the lines of research topics which aren't covered very well by the torrent scene. There are likely resources online that are specific to neurodevelopmental disorders that will be more helpful to you.

I use Bitspyder and Docspedia. I also have MyA but they are more towards ebooks in general not learning and such. Oh and I also recently joined BitSeduce because they have a good selection of pyschological material which I've always been interested in.

    I use BitMe.

It has a wide range of subjects and has tutorials in books and video's. I highly recommend it.

I also use ScienceHD which is also great...but obviously from the name...its just science orientated.
