Thread: Techys/Designers/Moderators required for a fully LEGAL music tracker!

Hi folks.

Firstly I don't really want go into too much detail here as I feel the project I've started has the potential to be quite big and while its in the beginning stages I want to keep things a little hush hush until official kick off time lol!

The tracker will be for copyright free genre specific music and such will be running 100% legal! So no worries of being shut down or any worries about being public. You may think this sounds rubbish etc. but once you find out more you'll see why its not (I Hope)

The site and the tracker are already hosted on a very well known hosting company, one that would certainly not allow it if it was illegal!!

Atm it is just me doing everything. I'm looking for some like minded people to aid me in making this all possible. Creating a site and tracker maybe easy you say but upon knowing more you'll see why its not the only thing I'm doing thus limiting my time and spreading myself thinly.

I'd love to have the following:

Techies. It would be great to have someone with the knowledge and experience in trackers and php in general etc. I'm more then capable but not done a lot for several years so kinda getting back in the swing of things.

Designers. Would be great if I had a fresh set of eyes and different angle of how things could look etc. Also while my design ideas/skills are not rubbish I'm not a wiz on photoshop and some of my design work probably reflects that. Also simple tasks must take me a lot longer then someone with good experience and hence free up more time for me to concentrate on other areas.

Moderators. Basically to help aid the running of the tracker once it all kicks off officially. Content submitted to the tracker by us (the "staff" so to speak) therefore no chance of anything untoward being put on the tracker. So several people to do his would make light work for all!

If there is anything else I haven't covered but you feel you maybe able to help with please pm me I'd loved to hear from anyone willing and able!

I suppose its worth mentioning that an interest (or love of) Drum & Bass would be ideal... obviously not required... but may help keep your interests alive lol.



I don't like to use the words staff or work as I want this to be good, enjoyable and at the end of the day rewarding. Staff makes me feel like you are employed below a boss etc I'd like to think that everyone will be the same just with different roles to play.

You are a bit too late about this... It's already one tracker running only free music Panda.cd :D and it's very nice :P

My trackers going to be a little bit more specific to a genre then a general site.

I have frequented the panda site and think I downloaded 1 track the entire membership. Really is not my cup of tea and in no way competition for my tracker and vice versa
