Thread: IPT account flagged

Hi, I would like to know if somebody else got is account flagged for suspicious speed on Iptorrents?

My account have been flagged for suspicious speed, thing is im using a seedbox and the speed is not suspicious for a seedbox. 15mb/s upload speed.
I only get this speed lile 1% of the time usually more 10mb/s or below.

now they ask me a proof of at least 15mb/s or better, I have try different attemp to get this speed today but only manage 7.5 mb/s and they dont accept it.
I just dont know how to achieve 15 mb/s or better cause like I explain I rarely get this speed cause my seedbox is sharing ressources with other users.




Anybody got a similar situation and find something to make it work out? I got a nice buffer that I have build and love the site so it would not be cool to be banned.

If I were in this position and was asked for Seedbox DL proof, I would find a decent sized Freeleech torrent on IPT with the most seeders and download that.

Should be able to max out your bandwidth by doing this.

They want Upload proof, I already give them a 26mb/s download proof but now i need one with at least 15 mb/s upload.

I jump on 10 sec fresh torrent but they get lots of seeder really fast so my speed only have time to climb in the 7.5 mb/s range before going down.
Since we are the weekend too and my seedbox using shared ressources its hard to reach this speed especially since I barely never reach this. The faster I have notice myself was in the 10-11mb/s range.

well i did notice that i got much better speeds on seedbox when i fisrt starting using it, maybe because of after seedbox is connected to so many peers it wont get top
sppeds on just one torrent. so would it be a idea to stop all other torrent and try one new popular torrent from ipt!

I would just say everything you said here to them. Maybe show them your reciept/order confirmation(edited) from your seedbox provider or even a screenshot of your rutorrent. They should know that most seedboxes are shared and speeds will vary.

I don't know why they flagged you. I switch providers every month or two. I have had 4 providers since I got my IPT account months ago. Speeds have always varied from one provider to another. My last VPS could hit +20BM/s per second and the one before that I was lucky to hit 10 MB/s.

This makes no sense.....Are you sure the person was part of FLS or staff?

Yep they are part of the staff there. It makes no sense to me since for a seedbox its not a uber speed, I only have a 15$ seedbox, its common to find people with better seedbox and speed than mine.

I have provide them with a couple of screenshot of rutorrent and my seedbox, including the passkey and I have try to talk sense into them but any proof under 15 mb/s is no good they tell me.

Im trying and trying, I have erase all my torrent and trying to get the Upload speed they ask for but its not just happening today

Talk to another member of staff, this doesnt make any sense why they would ask this unless they suspect you are cheating the ratio, ask the other staff nicely or go on IRC

They suspect you of cheating, because that's the only reason why they would care about your uploadspeed.

I somewhere read in there FAQ:

Do I have to tell staff my seedbox IP? No, we know what a seedbox is.

I can't find it anymore though.

Are you a new member there? I have uploaded there with 80MB/s+ and never been asked for anything.

Stop all torrents, because a lot of torrents running kills the disk speed, but the problem is that you are probably using a shared disk and you can't control the behaviour of your 'neighbours'.
Preferable download a torrent via autodl-irssi or you could just get a porn pack as soon as it is released. With those torrents you can achieve really high speeds.

It's really weird that they don't allow any of your proofs and good luck with keeping your account.
