Am I missing something? How did they find out your invite was from a public forum? I use BMTV alongside TI all of the time.

They might have seen the igiver and compared to user registration time.

Or they might use the same technique as what.cd, checking the browser data.

W/e it was it wasn't from here, but another invite forum. Someone gave me it and they caught on like 1 1/2 months later and yea I think they go through browser data.

Note to self: don't login into bitmetv from the same browser as the one I use to T-I.

Do you use firefox? Do you have the css history disabled?

I really don't think this is an issue. I've taken this from cookie central:

"A site can only access a cookie that has been set from its own domain, It cannot access any other cookies from your computer. Sites could access other site's cookies, again this problem was plugged a long time ago."

And if things like browsing history are out of the question (they are) you shouldn't worry about accessing BMTV and TI from the same browser.

    This is scary.

I'd like to hear a definite answer/solution to this.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the CSS hack although I am familiar with CSS; what are you referring to?
