Thread: how to keep your tracker account from banning because of inactivity?

Account Inactivity:
- Like you said some trackers have park option but even park have on some trackers his limit for example PT have (Maximum park time is 90 days. After that time account will be deleted.)
- Some of trackers have that if you are power user or more your account will not be deleted for example What.CD have (if being away for more than four months is unavoidable, you must become a Power User (or higher) that will make you immune to inactivity disabling.)
- Almost every tracker have that donators are immune to inactivity disabling but for example TL have (inactive ex-donors for the last 180 days. (VIPs are excluded))

What i would suggest:
- make a simple note in your profile that you will be away and why (this will help you get your account back if it will be disabled)
- check the rules/faq/forums to get know what to do and what is the account inactivity time, it really different from tracker to tracker and than if you see that you can't keep your account alive -> sent a staff pm or go to tracker support irc and tell them that you will be away and if they can help you with your account.
