Thread: Essay Question...Literary Journalism

Hello my name is pharmacy 27. I came here today to ask all of you a question for a creative writing class. I have a essay to write and I was wondering if I can get some good opinions on what you think about our current copy rite laws, file sharing, and all the other stuff we love to do here. If i do well i might get published, so give me your best opinions and be subjective and specific, cite sources.

1. DO you really think file sharing and torrent use is hurting anybody?



2. Do you think the current copyright laws are too strict/lenient ?

3. Do you think that torrent use will ever be eliminated ?

4. Do you think file sharing has brought people together?

5. What is the future of file sharing, what do you think the future will bring?

Im really for staying out of this discussion myself, but over at http://torrentfreak.com/ you can find a lot of discussion on this topic. A lot of it can be people not really knowing what they are talking about but some of the stuff there makes for a good argument. Look for Rick Falkvinge's http://torrentfreak.com/author/rick-falkvinge/ posts because he has made some very valid points concerning this.
