    Default Torrentleech and Passthepopcorn questions

First, what you guys think about TL.org ? I have been there, but I saw nothing great! I never used it, because I found all that I want in demonoid and passthepopcorn (and other things that was not in either them)

    What about PTP ?

I have been there too, it was fucking great. But I lost my password and I could not recover it. Anyone thinks is still possible to recover a password that is not used for about a year? (If so, can anyone send me a adm email) It is nothing wrong with my account !

Do you guys know anything more complete than PTP?

In my opinion PTP is about as complete as they get when it comes to movies, and the retention is pretty good too. PTP is my go-to site for my movie-fix.

In the case of TL.org though, I must say that it's not too good. I found that the content in IPT was MUCH better than TL.org. And the search function of TL.org was mediocre at best.

In short: PTP FTW, TL... not so much :)

You need to go to PTP irc chat and talk with the staff. Your account it's still there they don't delete accounts.
    IRC:
    Server: irc.passthepopcorn.me
    Standard port: 6667
    SSL port: +7000
    Disabled channel: #ptp-disabled

If you don't know how to use irc just download it from here -> mIRC: Download mIRC install it and click on this link to get run the chat with PTP staff irc://irc.passthepopcorn.me/ptp-disabled

Any yes PTP is the best movie tracker.

In my opinion, TL has more seeders than IPT,but there is no freeleech.

    TL v Demenoid.....

Demenoid is a public tracker essentially, it's full of crap you have to filter, is unsecure and is sllllooooooooow.
TL is fast, secure and full of quality Scene and p2p releases.

    No contest.

I'm not saying TL is the best site out there but it beats demenoid hands down.

IMO, Its very hard for a beginner to start off at TL compared to other sites. One good thing about it has good amount of seeders for most torrents that's it, no bonus system, invites are given based on "coins", and its basically like IPT but without the restrictions and few general differences.

I would agree that PTP is not only a better site content wise it also is nicer on the eyes. TL seems to be trying to gouge me at every click advert wise and continuosly has glitches (need to re-log in) . Not only that, I am only interested in good quality rips but TL seems like it must produce every potential encoder as well as multiple copies for eg there are about 28 different copies of zookeeper from cam to BR, I seriously do not need this many to choose from let alone bog up my C drive.
I really though TL was one I needed to get into and keep but I have to say that in my experience PTP is cleaner, easier to navigate with better overall content.

If you are looking for an invite to PTP try the invite forum or the recuitment thread. I am not sure if TL still has thier IRC invite open but you might also try there.

I like TL. I use quite often. Especially for BRRips - when I feel a 720p Blu-Ray isn't worth the download. I agree PTP is much cleaner, but having more encodes to choose from is never a bad thing. You might argue that quality is better than quantity, and I do agree to a certain extent, but once you've found an encoder you like you tend to stick to their releases anyways. Navigation is not a problem at all nor have I experienced any glitches forcing me to re-login. A combination of TL and HD-T covers the majority of my movie needs.
