Thread: Top 3 (Yes, Top 3) General Trackers

Which are they and why?



I've looked through the reviews for the top general trackers for long-term heavy usage. All of them have different content, systems, rules, activity, speeds, etc. That makes me think - a perfect tracker will never exist and if one tracker has a release I can't find anywhere else, who cares? Usually it'll be an episode of some TLC show I could care less to watch. Anyway getting back to the question.

Which 3 trackers are your top 3?

funny you say that . I've joined 3 or 4 trackers lately and have been left disappointed. I'm going to stay active with them but i decided I should be just a member of 3 general trackers with top content because I can't keep up with that many and I could care less if one tracker has a whole section of content I would never use. SCC I haven't been inside yet but from what people say, it would be one of them.

I vote for IP Torrents.

I do not think there are any top 3 trackers, scene groups have a pyramid system of what they say are the top trackers based on a point system, but individually it all depends on what you started with and how attach and happy you are with what they provide.

Top 3 general tracker is IPT SCC and TL they have great speed and good pre:)

Well, IPTorrents is a must-have, it's probably the single biggest general tracker in the world, and with tons of freeleech to boot. Everyone needs IPTorrents.

You might also want to go with SCC, just because of those awesome packs which are unattainable anywhere else on the internet. The drawback of SCC is that it has ONLY scene content, whereas GFT has P2P content as well. But SCC just seems to kick GFT's ass in all other departments (except pre-times which are roughly about equal)

The third one is hard. On one hand you have Filelist.Ro which is an amazing tracker, and all torrents above 4 gb there are auto-freeleech. It also has a big collection of untouched DVDs and HD movies which you cant find anywhere else. Then there's DigitalHive which is a decent tracker too, with lots of freeleech. Torrentleech probably has the most content out of all general trackers after IPTorrents, and is fairly easy to seed as well once you get past the wait-times. I will personally pick Filelist though but that's just me. Lots of people swear by Torrentleech and that's their choice.

Very Good post mate .

My first is IPT as he said that it is a must have tracker with loads of content and stuff to download. Large number of torrents , TL might have more seeders or torrents but I dont have to worry about ratio on this tracker unlike TL.

Second would be Torrentday ( Cant get into GFT and SCC banned country) I know this is not a great site yet but I find useful content here. Decent IMO .

I only use two and I have filelist but I dont like the conversion and then search . Anyways This is my three . Looking to get one good General tracker to my list !
