Thread: Your favorite trackers for standard-quality tv-shows & movies?

hi folks,
I'd like to pick a good private tracker for movies & tv-shows, but with these gazillions of trackers out there now, I'm kinda lost. I only need the 'normal' quality (around 1.4gb for a movie, around 179mb for a 20min episode), as I only have a slow connection (for today's standards) and only watch them on my laptop anyways.
so, what'd you say would be a good choice for that?

TL & IPT is best choice for u (movies)

BTN for TV but they close invite so TvT is best choice

Yeah you can use TL IPT and SCC they are great:D

SCC is good for packs mainly. And he is a 10%er anyway so if he wants to acquire an invite to SCC here, he will have to wait then. However T-I is obviously not the only means of procuring an invite to any website. Continuing on, I haven't oined IPT, nor do I plan on it, but TL has the normal stuff. I've had a hard time finding certain movies there though. If you're looking for blockbuster movies and possibly some new releases, TL should have it. I myself watch a lot of direct-to-dvd crap (that isn't always crap other than the 6 or so movies Ray Liotta has been in this year.) and TL just doesn't seem to have them. If you're serious about movies, try to get PTP. PTN is nice but I hate their search and they lack a LOT.

although I enjoy some vintage stuff from time to time, I mainly just need some of the usual series and from time to time a blockbuster movie. I just try to get these from private trackers now too :). think I'm gonna give IPT a try. thanks anyways!

I like SDBits and iTS for movies, a bunch of knowledgeble people there, especially at SDBits, if you care for quality those two are great, what most people overlook is that the first one heavy uploaders are also encoders from HDBits, but releasing in SD format. As those two focus on user made stuff, they are not concearned about uploading new blockbusters, but what the encoder likes to watch, so contentwise you could benefit more from the scene or a regular movie tracker if you don't like to watch classics and foreign films.

BTN is definetly your must go for TV, i don't think there is much more to say about it, however, SDBits also has a good ammount of TV series, many are just the first seasons though, but their quality is usually better.

The two movie trackers focus on x264, if you want XviD, forget them, SDBits has none and iTS' XviD is from the time x264 was not widespread, most of the new movies aren't uploaded as XviD anymore.
